What are Telegram Stars?
Telegram Stars are Telegram's virtual items for buying digital goods and services from bots and mini apps. They sit in your Stars balance in Telegram, and you can use them to:
- pay in bots, games and mini apps;
- unlock paid photos, videos and posts in channels;
- react with Stars and support creators;

Who can receive them
Any Telegram account with a username: your own or a friend's. In the bot, choose Myself or Someone else and type their username. Before you pay, the bot shows the account Telegram found, so you can check it's the right one.

How to buy
- Open Oya Stars in Telegram and tap Buy Telegram Stars.
- Choose Myself, or Someone else and type their @username.
- Pick a package, or Other Amount for any number of Stars.
- Check Your Order: the Stars, who gets them and the price. Then tap Pay.
- Choose your M-Pesa number and approve the prompt on your phone with your PIN.
- The Stars arrive, usually within seconds, and the bot tells you when they're delivered.

Delivery and refunds
- Delivery starts as soon as M-Pesa confirms your payment and usually takes seconds. If an order takes longer, the bot tells you, and you can follow it under My Orders.
- If we can't deliver an order you paid for, we refund the amount you paid to the M-Pesa number that paid.
- Delivered Stars can't be reversed or moved to another account, so check the username before you pay.
